    nothing ever goes 'WELL' at first but given a week or two things eventually get tweeked so all is well.


    I thought the BIG anniv update was in OCT not Nov. confused minds want to know for sure.

    Given our current schedule we should be able to put the November update live within a very close time to the Anniversary Date. Right now things are still up the air, so once we get a bit closer to that time we will be able to clarify things further.

    Just so we're clear, I don't think he was saying that these are November updates -- he was just clarifying that the "Big Fall Patch" they'd already talked about for October will instead be in November to capitalize on the game's anniversary.

    All we know about the time-line for these art upgrades is that they won't be coming in May.

    And just to be clear, we are hopeful that the texture upgrades shown in these shots will be in the game before November. We don't want to give an actual date yet, but we are shooting for sooner rather than later. The other stuff we have spoken about would be more likely for November.

    Is it possible to make the water transparent?

    The reason I ask is because often when I'm hunting DI and I kill mobs in the water it's a pain to loot the corpses when they're completely submerged, sure I can use the bracket keys but it's annoying when it resets after looting one and starts targeting corpses farther away before cycling back.

    I get a little help from a decal plugin with this but it'd be much easier if either:

    A. The water was transparent

    B. All corpses in the water breached the surface at least partially

    or

    C. Corpses in the water would glow or some other effect


    Just a thought.

    bnu, go to configure controls. There is a 'select nearest unopened corpse' option that is not bound to anything. This will help you loot anything MUCH more easily.

    Confused about these textures. Will these just be in super high res mode? Or will low res mode look better too?

    From what the devs are saying it sounds like low-res will look better, too.

    Question: I know the water has to be a static texture.


    However, some static textures -- like the lava in 110+ Wisps -- move over time so as to give it a better 'feel'.

    Is this something that could work for the water texture?
