Present Dilemma
Emperor Geraine sat in the quiet dark of his throne room. An eerie silver light radiated from the bowl set next to his throne, whose waters were filled with rippling images and shifting scenes. The Emperor watched the images with a mild interest, a look of contentment on his otherwise stoic visage.

The Little Aluvian
The little Aluvian laid down in his bed
awaiting the stories that would soon fill his head
Where are these children, ask you may.
Well they are safe from all danger, tucked far away.

Cloak of Darkness
“It is time.”
Asheron, followed closely by Deewain, Isin Dule, and the small force they had managed to muster, moved with a steady and confident pace toward the forsaken town of Tou-Tou. The sky grew darker, the air still, as the forces of light maneuvered ever closer to the legions of darkness. Asheron called the brave warriors to a halt beside the meeting hall at the edge of town.

Loss
The townsfolk looked on in horror as the shadow forces grew in numbers around the town. They seemed to flow in from every direction.

Rollout Fiction
“Why are we up here again?” grumbled the old soldier, looking down on the corrupted remains of Tou-Tou from the nearby tower.
“I wanted to get a better look at whats happening down there,” said the young adventurer, gesturing down at the town, which had become completely engulfed in shadow.

A Rising Darkness
"The Shadows moved in closer to the town. Almost as if they were surveying the area, the Shadows worked their way around the perimeter, stopping at seemingly random locations for short periods of time."

Shifting Shadows
Black Ferah slowly floated along the winding obsidian stone which led up to Ler Rhans perch high above the molten rock. Ferah was interested in discussing the results of the experiment they had recently conducted. If not for the fact she was no longer human, that interest may have been viewed as excitement.

July Rollout Fiction
When the rich wanted to be a spectical, they wanted to be attended by a spectical. They believed they became whatever they were surrounded by. They believed that his striking beauty would somehow rub off on them.

Stirrings in the Dark
Ferah moved along the rocky hills around Tou-Tou with several shadows following close behind her. Finally, she stopped at a grassy recess cut into the side of the rock. After examining the area closely, Ferah turned to address the other shadows.

June Rollout Fiction
The young adventurer stood there, fitting the new shield cover over his old, battered shield.
“Well, arent you the picture of shiny conformity,” said the old soldier, looking at his friend, now covered head to toe in the trappings of the Celestial Hand.
“Youre just jealous because I completed my Master elevation before you did,” replied the young adventurer, looking smug.

Lost City of Neftet
Asheron gazed fixedly into the crystal, which was filled with an image of the empty desert. Laid over the image were the glowing patterns of magic in the area. In the center of the image, a large dome of magical energies flickered in and out of view for a moment.

Dark Deliveries
Isin Dule floated back and forth anxiously while he awaited the return of one of the scouts. He looked over at Lord Dargeth but said nothing. Borelean had left to deal with another matter, of which he did not share much information, leaving Lord Dargeth to work with Isin Dule until he returned.

April Rollout Fiction
Borelean was proud of his knights. They had managed to track down the location of one of the most dangerous rituals Dereth had ever seen. Sir Learth, in particular, had successfully organized the diverse peoples of Dereth to stage a world-wide hunt for the enchanted mnemosynes that both anchored the rituals defenses, and yet dispersed enough of the energy that it had remained all but undetectable. Now, finally, all that work was coming to fruition.

March 2011 Release Notes

Hidden In Shadows
The townspeople of Tou-Tou ran for cover as the ground began to violently shake. Thunderous crashing was heard as rocks broke free from the mountain nearby and slammed into the ground below. Amid the disaster, a shape began to emerge from the crest of the rocks. Its full form was hidden through the dust cloud created from all of the dirt and rocks being shook down from the peak.

March Rollout Fiction
"Master, I have the analysis of the Mana Field disruptions that you asked for," said the glowing light elemental.
"Thank you," replied Asheron, lost in thought, "Compare the findings to the temporal anomalies previously detected, and see if there's a pattern."
"As you wish, Master," replied the elemental, with a bow.

February 2011 Release Notes

Blood From Stone
Garwode twisted his head away from the bone chilling wind gusting down the icy mountains. After hearing the story about the huge stone golem smashing the ground in these icy hills, Garwode had gotten a group together in order to hunt it down. He was sure it would only be a matter of time before the beast began attacking the villages causing death and destruction. Garwode was determined to act first and end the threat before anyone had to suffer at its hands.

February Rollout Fiction
“How in Ispar do you talk me into these things?” whined a voice in the darkness.
“Aww, please, you know you enjoy the challenge, the sights, the sounds, the accolades.” replied the old soldier with a smile. “Its just a pity that you also enjoy whining.” he added with an even broader grin. “Besides, its not my fault you didnt dodge when the Gurog fell on you.”

January Rolllout Fiction
Slowly pulling his bow string back, the young Aluvian took aim at the resting armoredillo. He lined up his shot, trying to get it perfect so the animal would not run off with only a wound. As the shot was released, the ground shook fiercely causing the Armoredillo to jump up and roll away as the arrow drove into ground.
